CAA Norway Rejects Incomplete Applications Concerning Aircraft and Helicopter Licenses
Starting from February 1, 2025, Civil Aviation Authority Norway (CAA Norway) will implement a new practice regarding incomplete applications for aircraft and helicopter certificates. The change is prompted by challenges with incomplete applications, which have led to delays and increased resource usage in gathering missing information. Incomplete applications will be rejected from the aforementioned date.
The new guidelines stipulate that applications involving an examiner must be submitted directly to the CAA Norway by the examiner themselves. If an application is rejected due to missing documentation, a new application must be submitted, and it will be processed according to the new submission date. To avoid delays, applicants and examiners are encouraged to thoroughly familiarize themselves with the requirements and double-check that forms are correctly completed and all necessary documentation is attached before submission.
The goal of these measures is to reduce processing time, improve resource utilization, and create a more efficient and fair application process. The CAA Norway aims to ensure a better experience for all parties involved and deliver more efficient services.
The change will be effective from February 1, 2025.
